2Inmy opinion tree diagrams are useful for language teacing because they´re a simple,clear and uncomplicated way of representing a group of lnguages related through dscent from a common ancestor.On a didactic level tree diagrams are used to illustrate the analysis of surface structures and in grammar teaching.Tree diagrams can be useful and clear to illustrate the linguistic cmponents.Chomsky is one of the most influential linguistic of the 20^th century. He and all gnerativits perceived language as an innate ablity.Huamns are born with a set of rules in our head that gnerativits refer to as UnivrsalGrammar.In addition Chomsky´s standards theory includes 4main cmponents:t base component wich producs or generates basic syntactic structure called deep structures,the transformationl cmponen which canges/transforms there basic structures into sntences called surface strcutures,the phonologicl component which gives sntencs a phonetic representation so that they can be pronounced and the semntic component which deals with the meaning of sntncs.Inmy opinion I feel useful te tree diagrams for a student bcause is an easy way to understand the grammar strctre and rules.But this perspective is only focus in some aspects of humn language the cognitive ablity for language,so I think is important too explain some social or evolutional factors of the lnguages because this will involve the grmmatical strctre of language.
