The First World War began on 1914, with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand and finished on 1919 in Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles, the most important peace treatries, brought the end to the First World War. It was signed on 28th of June of 1919 also in Versailles, five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which immediately started the First World War. After the war Germany had to charge with all the responsibilities because it had done all the damage and losses during the war. This Treatry, became known as the War Guilt clause and it forced Germany to pay and renew all the damages caused. But should be Germany the only guilty ot the First World War?

One of the many reasons why Germany should be responsible for the First World War is because the Versailles deal is written and was the cause of the increased tension that finally ended up fighting in the middle of the warfield. This war between France and Prussia, known as the future German Empire, ended with a major defeat of France from 1870 to 1871, thus losing two regions called Alsace and Lorraine and payed compensation to Prussia. It ended with the Treaty of Frankfurt which reached the conclusions mentioned before. This war by the Germans led to becoming a great German empire with a good army and great economic power to alter the European power and generate in the French a feeling of revenge and deep resentment.
Later, 1888, with the arrival of William II to the German throne, they altered foreign policy, thus dismissing Otto von Bismarck as chancellor. He also opposed renewing the Reinsurance Teatry, which agreed to a weak peace between Russia and Austria-Hungary, apart from keeping France distant. Because of the choice of William, France and Russia, future bases of the Triple Entente.
These were two of the main facts that make Germany guilty of the First World War.

Although Germany was the first to attack, it would be a great historical mistake to blame it only because it also tried to stop the escalation of the war. A great example was that Germany tried to discourage Russia from mobilizing, so we already know that Russia was the first power that finally mobilized even before the Austrian deadline to Serbia had expired. Russia's goal was for this war to achieve Russian domination throughout Europe, called pan-slavery. Although Germany tried by all means to prevent Russia's final expansion, it did not succeed.
United Kingdom, denied the peace, offered well of Germany asking for an English neutrality in exchange for a Belgian, which finally ended up denying the British Minister of Foreign Affairs. Secondly again more offers arrived for the United Kingdom from Germany which Lord Grey again rejected as the renunciation of the repairs by the French. For the last time, the last offers came from a blank cheque asking the German ambassador Lichnowski to say how much money English neutrality would bring, which was rejected.
It was not known that Grey had made those decisions which were spoken of in the UK's largest authorities, carrying out a week later the beginning of England's war with Germany. Germany was trying to protect Belgium.
